Social anxiety has always been there for me in one form or another.

Personal space is usually required for me. As with everyone but mine is heightened when around strangers beyond what most “normal” people experience. Leaving the house has been a big issue for me. Whether it is not going out for financial worries or interaction with unknowns. I prefer to drive places as being in a crowded metal box of people I don’t know, or even low population in the vehicle can send me into an anxiety attack. This can happen at events, be they private or public. I tend to do better when there are close friends around I can cling to and focus on.

Some days it is the case that I barely leave my room, either curled up in bed or playing games on my computer or just watching Facebook.

I need to get out of the house more so to desensitise this nerve. More regular social interaction and more activity to get focused on what I can do more.

Having someone there will help me push further to get out of the house and interact with people.
